Unlocking Computer Shoulder
        
Our practices are full of clients seeking relief from jobs where habitual computer use is required and often exasperated by additional hours “surfing the web.” As therapists, we recognize the prevalence of postural distortion and pain patterns associated with computer use. This class focuses on unwinding the cumulative effects of these conditions.
Students will learn:
- techniques to address kyphosis, medial rotations, and forward head posture
- the relationship between facilitated and inhibited musculature
- to recognize myofascial stress lines in clients
- to empower clients with guidelines for improved ergonomics

“Top Ten” Trigger Points for Erasing Pain
           
Studying a trigger point chart with its anatomical detail can be overwhelming and outright confusing. This course shows students how to locate and treat common pain patterns, restoring muscles to their normal resting length.
